    What is park and ride?

    A car park on the edge of a town with buses into the centre, so you can leave the car and skip city-centre traffic and parking. Most sites charge either per car (bus included) or per person for the bus. Our guide explains how it works.

    How do I find the times for a park and ride bus?

    Open your town or site above. Each site page shows the buses that leave it, the first and last bus on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, how often they run, and live departures at the stops in the car park.

    Every car park here has bus stops named park and ride in the national stop list (NaPTAN), and the times are the operators' own timetables via the DfT Bus Open Data Service. We don't hold parking prices or opening hours — check with the council or the operator.
